QUALITY & COAs

Transparency You Can Actually Review.

Peps4Life believes research products should be supported by clear, accessible quality documentation whenever available. Our goal is to help researchers understand what a Certificate of Analysis is, what it can tell you, and what it cannot.

WHAT IS A COA?

Understanding Certificates of Analysis.

A Certificate of Analysis, commonly called a COA, is a laboratory report that provides information about a tested sample. Depending on the laboratory and test panel, a COA may include identity, purity, net content, chromatographic data, mass spectrometry, heavy-metal screening, endotoxin results, sterility testing, or other analytical information.

COAs are one part of evaluating a research material. They should be reviewed alongside batch information, laboratory identity, testing methods, dates, and available verification tools.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Quality Documentation With Context.

01

Identity

Testing should help confirm that the material analyzed matches the compound identified on the report.

02

Purity

Purity results provide information about the proportion of the target compound detected in the tested sample.

03

Net Content

When reported, net content helps show how much tested material was detected in the sample.

04

Additional Screens

Some reports may include heavy metals, endotoxin, sterility, or other quality-related testing.

HOW TO REVIEW A COA

Look Beyond the Purity Number.

Laboratory Name Batch or Lot Number Testing Date Identity Result Purity Result Net Content Testing Method Verification Code

A high purity percentage alone does not answer every quality question. Researchers should review the complete report and understand exactly which tests were performed.

BATCH TRANSPARENCY

Documentation Should Match the Product.

When Peps4Life publishes a COA for a product, the available documentation is intended to help customers review testing associated with the relevant material or batch.

Laboratory reports apply to the specific sample analyzed and should not be interpreted as a guarantee about every future sample, batch, or product.

OUR STANDARD

Better documentation creates better-informed research.

Peps4Life is committed to making quality information easier to find, easier to understand, and easier to evaluate.
